This phrase has gone viral and has simply infected the minds of those who exclaim, shrugging their shoulders, when faced with an impossible situation or one that can no longer be remedied: "What can you do, there's nothing you can do." In all its simplicity, this expression seems to be defining for Romanians, an attitude that is often derided by those who make fun of the types of people who use expressions such as "Leave it, it's fine as it is" or "That's how it is", a resignation in the face of fate and at the same time an incurable optimism, hoping that next time will be better.
